ok so this is less of a tutorial and more of a how i do my hair myself. i have curly hair and it can even become like ringlets if i let it air dry instead of towel drying. everything i use here should be able to be found at walgreens. you need: a comb with fine teeth, flat iron, got2b Guardian Angel, and Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti-Frizz serum. 1: is after you’ve taken a shower let your hair dry completely before putting in the Guardian Angel spray. Spray from roots and comb with your fingers to the ends. 2 after head is covered completely get your comb and comb a small section of hair out and hold it tight with your fingers. 3. take the comb and comb the hair up about two inches from the root then put the flat iron between the scalp and the comb. 4. continue to slowly, yet steadily, slide the flatiron from root to ends while combing it at the same time so there are no kinks in your hair. 5. repeat for the entire head. i start with the front of my head beginning on the left side on the bottom, moving along to the top, then do the right side. after that i go to the back starting at the bottom on the left side up, then right side up, then the middle up. (btw since yer hair might still be wet from the product you might get steam when you flat iron it. its hot! careful on yer scalp and fingers!!) 6. after that is done i finish it with Garnier Fructis Anti-Frizz serum to put some shine back into my hair, make it smell better, and some what style it. i put about a

If you’ve decided to go natural, you will probably want to know what’s out there as far as the best black hair products for natural hair.  A new product that store owners are having a hard time keeping on the shelves is the Eco Styler Gel with Olive Oil.  This gel comes in a large container and is great for all hair types, especially natural hair that is short.  Use it on the hair after you’ve done the BC (the big chop), and it is great for wash and wear styles.  It goes on smooth when the hair is soaking wet and gives the hair a finished look with healthy shine.  The gel can also be used on long hair and provides a certain amount of hold, and is great for up-do’s.  The Eco Styler Gel with Olive Oil is a great product for wash and wear styles because it’s quick and easy to maintain.  Cost-wise, it won’t break your pocketbook and does not cost nearly as much as other natural curl enhancers.

I have used Cathy Howes’ UBH Creme Moisturizer formula for many years which is an excellent product for black hair whether natural or relaxed.  On natural hair, it works as a good moisturizer barrier on the hair before you apply the Eco Styler Gel.  It will help keep the hair moisturized and prevent flaking.

I know experts say only to use SULFATE FREE shampoos, but Mane ‘n Tail has worked wonders on my children’s’ hair.  (One child has natural hair and the second is transitioning from relaxer to natural).  Mane ‘n Tail has created volume and softness in their hair, and has the added bonus of really thickening up the hair.  Upon its first use, you will notice a BIG difference in how your hair feels, and it makes your hair more soft and manageable.

Diva Smooth is a new exciting product I stumbled upon and I am thanking God I did.  Whether you are transitioning from a relaxer or curly perm to natural hair and want to use a healthy alternative to perms, Diva Smooth is the product for you.  It is a natural straightening alternative to relaxers that is fully natural and does not change the makeup of the hair chemically.  Upon applying the product to the hair as instructed, following the waiting period and washing and rinsing out, you will notice a difference even while blow drying your hair.  Your hair will be very silky, and then when the flat iron or In-Styler is used, you will have instant silk and will be amazed at how soft and manageable your hair has become.  Your hair will have a healthier gloss and shine, and will look moisturized compared to how your hair looks when you have a relaxer.  Relaxers tend to dry the hair out, but Diva Smooth preserves moisture and locks it in.  If you purchase the coconut serum with your Diva Smooth, it will protect your hair while you are straightening it and give your hair the moisture it needs.  This is a revolutionary product I hope they never stop making.  The only complaint is that so many people want this product that it takes, on the average, 9 to 10 business days to receive it.  However, just be patient; it’s worth the wait!

I purchased the InStyler as a healthy alternative to using the flat-iron.  The InStyler has a ceramic rotating barrel and brush bristles that glide through the hair and calm and smooth the hair as it straightens it.  As a result, you hair has a very straight look, and your ends are kept healthy as compared to how they look when the flat-iron is used which has the potential to instantly fry the hair and causes damage to the ends.   It is easy to use and comes with an instructional DVD and booklet.  It is great for medium to long hair, but can also be used on short hair too.
