I had a bad hair braiding experience and decided that I don't want to relax my hair anymore after I took the braids out. I know nothing about making the transition. Ultimately I hope to have loose curls (similar to what I had when I was younger). But, I know what my current new growth looks like so are looser curls acheiveable? Also, what the heck is a texturizer and at what point would you use one (if you made the decision to get it)?
I just want to know how to do a spring twist on my own. I checked out someone's blog and she had done it herself and it was great. If you can show me step by step how to do them, I'd greatly appreciate it. Not kinky twists, SPRING twists. Thanx!
Want to know if these are good to use. Do I need to remove the springs to install these and should I use lubrication to get them in easier? Need advice from someone who has used them before. Thanks.
On January 1, 2010, I officially decided to go natural. I decided not to do the big chop because I wear wigs and half wigs and need some length in the front to make them look more realistic. Recently, I've noticed that a section of my relaxed hair has broken off leaving just very short natural hair. Is this normal? Should I just go ahead with the big chop? Please help!
