I learned to do these twists on my own from watching youtube videos by "Braids by SaBrina". It took 5 days but the outcome was beautiful. This is not an instructional video but I will do a video on how easy it is to do if I get requests. I would rather for you all to watch "Braids by Sabrina" videos instead because she is really good and talented. Also, this is my very first time doing my whole head and I am very bad at doing my own hair and I do not know how to braid well.

She asked if I could replicate it, and it took me several hours to do so. It is very much like a Dutch Braid, only you are knotting rather than braiding. Hope you enjoy the tutorial!

The young generation likes this style because it looks cool and modern. Braided hair styles can be adorned by anyone. Men and women are often seen spotting braids in all the hip and happening places.

Special braiding is easy to learn, but it is easy to mess up without necessary training. There are basic steps and procedures that stylists have to learn before they start working on someone else’s hair style. A couple of the most significant things to learn before styling somebody’s hair is what tools will be required and how to set up a hair braiding post.

However, just because braids are considered to be a classic, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you can’t get a fun and exciting style out of them. The good thing about the “crisscross” look is that they can add sophistication, make you look younger or give you an instant makeover, depending on the style that you will be going for.

Braids of various styles can be seen on many heads all over the world. The African heritage members of our society brought the braids to the world, and the braids have taken on a life of their own.

Thousands of fashion models, stay at home moms, businessmen, teenagers, and even small children wear some type of braid upon their head. The style is easy to maintain, and the look is fashionable. Women like braids because it is easy to alter into different looks for different occasions and situations.

The good thing about sporting a braided style with black and African American hair is that there is something that you can do to make it suited for every type of occasion. Whether you’re spending a day out with your friends, rearing to go to work or if you have a red carpet-like social event that you want to attend, you can vary your braids to go along with your look and outfit.

Paracord will shrink when it gets wet, so you before you start to braid your leash, the paracord MUST be preshrunk. You will do this by soaking the paracord in hot water for five minutes and then hanging it to dry. You can speed up the drying process by putting the wet paracord in a pillowcase, knotting it closed, and placing it in the dryer.

Braided hair has both aesthetic and historical significance. Interwoven strands bound together in elegant formations, being beautifully practical. Functionally, braids keep hairs out of our face, so we are able to carry on the work of the day. Aesthetically, braids are an accessory to frame the face and accessorize the head. Many cultures throughout history have created braids that hold special significance relating to age, religion, status, etc.

A fishtail is a two-strand braid. To make it, divide a single section of hair in two, then lay them one-over-another like you would in a normal braid. Pull them together, so as to tighten the plait.
